随着城市建设及经济发展的不断深入，环境污染一直是严重的社会问题，因此，加强和深入推进环境污染防治是当前我国各级政府的重要任务。

首先，要落实“发展绿色经济”的战略，加大节能减排力度，防止过度燃烧造成的空气污染，限制城市污染物的排放，减少环境污染源。其次，要加强环境污染防治工作的监督检查，建立健全企业责任制度，严禁企业有意隐瞒自身污染行为，及时了解企业生产状况，及时发现问题，及时开展治理工作，确保环境污染防治质量。第三，要加强社会教育，居民了解环境污染危害，积极主动配合政府的环境保护，正确使用资源，不给环境污染方面造成压力。此外，完善环境污染防治相关立法，给予当事人应有的制裁，加大环境污染处罚金额，增强违法行为者的惩罚力度，减少环境污染的发生。

推进环境污染防治是艰巨的任务，需要政府投入大量资金，并与宣传社会尊重环境、尊重资源的文化一起深入推进。社会各界人士都应积极参与环境保护宣传，给予环境污染防治更多的支持，共同营造一个良好的环境，构建绿色家园，造福后代子孙！

Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and inspection of environmental pollution prevention and control work, set up and improve the enterprise responsibility system, strictly prohibit enterprises from deliberately concealing their pollution behaviors, understand the enterprise production status in time, find out problems in time and carry out governance in time to ensure the quality of environmental pollution prevention and control. Thirdly, we should strengthen social education, let the citizens understand the harms of environmental pollution, cooperate actively with the government in environmental protection, use resources properly, and put no pressure on environmental pollution. Additionally, we should improve the related legislation on environmental pollution prevention and control, give proper punishment to the parties concerned, increase the environmental pollution penalty and enhance the punishment of lawbreakers so as to reduce the occurrence of environmental pollution.

Promotion of environmental pollution prevention and control is a difficult task which requires a large amount of money invested from the government and needs to be pushed forward with the aid of publicity for the culture of respecting the environment and resources. All sectors of the society should participate proactively in the publicity of environmental protection, give more support to the prevention and control of environmental pollution, and work together to build a good environment, a green home, and benefit our posterity!
